Just saw this on the EU news. The EU is encouraging cycling to work on Fridays, every Friday, with the thinking that once you try it, you'll like it. The effort is aimed at reducing congestion and lowering the dependence on oil.
Meanwhile in the US, we have Bike to Work day... ONE DAY A YEAR.
