Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Sassy and I are doing this one. Hope some of you can make it 110 miles of fun. I don't think there is much climbing - but it didn't really say.

October 14th, North of Modesto in Riverbank, CA

I wrote them and aked, here's what I got:
Plan on 3500' of climb with two majior climbs, The first one is from LaGrange to the Dam is not steep, but it is long. The 2nd is just before lunch. It is long and steep. Be ready to work. It is followed by a downhill that is steep and tight. After that, it is just miles. Hope this helps. Dave

This looks neat, but it's the weekend right before Foxy's Fall in Davis and I've already signed up for that one.

Dampoor:

This is a relatively easy century. Only about 30 feet per mile elevation, average. Will be a nice warm up for Foxy.

I'll be there with Tricia, but she only wants to the the 100K. We'll be riding in with our buddy OrbeaJ who's doing the 100 miler. Look for her on her Orbea with the CA license plate that says "Joyce"

I think I'll wear my NorCal jersey, but I might go the red 50 plus bikeforums jersey.
