whats a good bike mirror that you would recommend....i tried many...but now im looking for one so that you dont have to make a hole in the handle bar side and ruin it...

>ive had the cat eyes...
>the topeak handle bar the hide away...the coolest i think...
>and a few others that ive tried i forgot the brands...and some cheap ones....

but are they any new ones that could attach more to the handle bar center like between the stem and grip is what i mean ....or is the third eye the most recommended for now since i wear my helmet...i appreciate any links....thanxs in advance

Take a Look on the eyeglasses, or Evolution mirror from Calhoun Cycle on the handlebar.

On the trike I like my Arctic Cat hand mirror.

No attachment to the bike at all.

I like the ITALIAN ROAD BIKE MIRROR.

It replaces the handlebar end plug, and provides a good view.

FWIW.

This is my second year commuting. I tried a handlebar mirror, that did not work so well... then I bought a Take a Look mirror. I always wear it, I cannot imaging not wearing it now. Its awesome..

I've been pretty happy with Third Eye. Never tried the Take-a-look but folks do seem to swear by it.

I like the blackburn mirror that attaches to the brake hoods.

Does anyone know if Take-a-Look is available for countries that drive on the left side of the roads? e.g. Australia or the UK?

Definitely take a look at "take a look. " much more secure than Third Eye style. Simple turn of the head and you get the full view. Handlebar mounted mirrors, they don't allow one to rotate them so you can get a 180 Degree view.

It's infinitely adjustable. I don't doubt you could make it work as is.

BTW, another problem with brake mounted mirrors is they are no good when out of the saddle.
