Road Cycling - ROX ultralight rim strips

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anybody using them. If so how do you like them?

I don't use them on my road bike now because my wheels already had rim tape, but I've used them on my mountain bike for several months now (w/about 500 miles) and no problems to report.
For a road bike, it seems like the higher pressure would cause the rim tape to dimple a bit through the holes because the tape is thinner than regular cloth tape, but I think the dimples will be so small, if any, as to not cause any problems. I'd say go for it.

I just put those on my latest wheels (Mavic/Record). Haven't looked since their install a few hundred miles back. They just use a thin nylon strip instead of Velox's thicker cotton web. I don't notice any difference and hope not to.
