Does anyone have any opinions on these forks?

Ive seen these supposed "high end" forks in magazine ads, but ive yet to see an actual mountain biker riding one. Your best bet is to stay with something you know is going to work.

Yeah, I'm skeptical of any dual crown fork with like 8 inches of travel for under 300 bucks.

Well the RST Sigma XL MSRP's for $2000! Reviews on this fork are real good. Also RST USA is no longer in buisness they are mainly a Euro maker now. Although you do see alot of their forks on import bikes. I never knew RST to make a bad or dangerous fork. I never saw anyone actually bust one in pieces. Sure they had some poor performing forks, but mainly at pricepoint models. Their high end forks are good and perform well.
I am not sure however about Suntour forks. Their high end specs are the same as anyone else but how they work is another story.

SunTour used to be the premium parts suplier until Shimano aced them out. They made some quality goods and suspect the lower price may be a way to get back in the game.
