Fifty Plus (50+) - The Amazing Bill Cotton

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I hope we all can celebrate our birthdays like the incredible Bill Cotton of Bicycle Club of Philadelphia:

"Last year, to celebrate his 69th birthday and the approaching summer solstice, he biked to Cape May and back - 227 miles in 22 hours."

I would love to be able to do this.
But if I was, I still wouldn't!

I have seen Bill Cotton's posts on rec.bicycles.rides, which I don't look at much since I started on Bike Forums. He always had good advice. Never knew he was old.

That's one reason he's amazing. He doesn't dwell on his age. No excuses!
