Does anyone out there know where I can find Exte Ondo apparel in Europe or the United States?? They make the coolest cycling clothing around. They are the HUGO BOSS of the cycling world IMHO. I am just wondering why Exte Ondo is not readily available here in the good ole'USA? Any information on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

*but please note that I didn't have a great experience with Bicycling Hub
The only 2 places I know that carry Etxe-Ondo are
Bicycling hub as mentioned and Bulltek Sports in the U.S.
(at least the mail order stores).
World Cycling Productions also carries Etxe clothing.
Links are:
Bulltek (http://www.bullteksports.com/)

Hey Mike, Please tell the story of your unpleasant experience. I was thinking about ordering through them, but now I'm having second thoughts. please clarify.

does anyone know of any mail-order in Britain or europe who sells Exte- ONDO. The USA selection of styles is limited compared to what's on the Exte Ondo home site. I really feel I'll have a better chance of getting laid if I can get my hands on some Exte Ondo's great fashions.
FYI--It is Etxe Ondo not Exte. I pardon you for this common mistake.

my experience:
I ordered a pair of Santini bib shorts, the pic showed that the straps were lycra, but when I got them they were this scratchy cloth stuff. I emailed Doug at Bicyclehub, and he said I could return them, but that these were an improvement so I tried them, hate them, but now since I wore them I'm stuck with them.
My main problem, as expressed to Doug, was that the pic did not match the product, he agreed and offered me a discount on future purchases...not great but better than nothing I figured. I emailed him back...weeks ago, and said OK I'll take the discount but never did here from him again.
So not terrible, but again the pic didn't match the product and then he did not come thru with a offered resolution.
I don't think I would let this scare you off, again not a horrible experience just not great.
I don't know, he offered you discounts on all future
purchases, how much more could you ask for?
It seems to me he did the right thing. . .
I doubt that someone like Excel, Supergo, Nashbar etc.
would do the same.
just my .02 worth
Marty
For what it's worth,
I've made a few orders from bicylinghub.com and I always got great service from Doug there.
BTW, the Etxe-Ondo Power Bibs are great in my opinion.

Marty,
I still think that the pic should match the product...if something changes then change the pic.
Also, like I said, when I decided to accept the discount I never heard from him again...false promise.

Stinkfist -
Great name! I have several Etxe Ondo items that I bought in Spain. I´ve also seen them in Cambridge Mass, at a bike store called ATA Bikes on Mass. Ave. They had a nice small selection. I bought some from BicyclingHub.com and was not real satisfied with the service. I got two pairs of bibs -
one Etxe Ondo and one Santini. The EO´s fit great and I love them. The Santini´s were not a good fit, and when I called Doug he wined about taking them back due to costs, loss of income, etc. I insisted that in order to buy via the net I MUST be able to return these (oh, it was that he didn´t want to give me a refund, but would exchange them - which meant I had to hunt for an item I wanted at the same price). Not too user friendly. I gave him my business to support a small company. But to order via the web and not be able to return for a refund without any questions asked is not okay, for me. After we agreed on how we could both have our needs met, he forgot, several times, after asking me to email him the details and what I wanted in exchange. When he finally DID get around to it (we´re talking two months after the original order), it took another two weeks to get the exchange item.
I´m including the details for not only you, but others who asked. I read another reply from someone who had mediocre service, so I am giving you my experience to use in whatever way you want.
Now, for a good vacation, go to Madrid, and on Calle Atocha, walking up toward Puerta del Sol, there is a bike store on the left with a good collection of EO stuff - bibs, shorts, gloves, jackets, warmers, etc. The stuff is made in the Basque area, up north, and another good thing to do is fly into Madrid, get a connection up to Bilbao. There are several stores in that city that carry the goods right out of the factory. You can visit the incredible Guggenheim museum, eat excellent seafood and basque cuisine, rent a bike to ride outrageous roads, and buy what you want.
Hope this helps.
