Since you didn't post any information, I can only conjecture that he (or she) may (or may not) have been wearing a helmet. Surely the rider (or riders if it was a tandem) were taking the lane (or riding on the sidewalk, as the case may be), which obviously contributed to the crash. In any event, the cager (or JABD) was undoubtedly at fault, even though the cyclist ran the red light (or stop sign)...

I hate buses. They srop in the bike line to pick up and drop off passengers, there is usually too much traffic to merge and go on their left. School busses are worse. They stop in the bike lane, turn on those flashers and cut off the engine till the kid gets inside!!
