Foo - Why I hate my Cell Phone

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I get to work this morning, to have the phone buzz and tell me I have two messages, both from Vega from Saturday!!!!!
It took the f******** phone 2 days to deliver the message's and does not tell me I have any missed calls.
Now I know why I never heard what was happening Saturday, my phone decided not to pass on the messages.

A buddy and I both use T-Mobile and miss calls and messages like that all the time. I think I have 3 or 4 months left on my contract then I'm ditching those dicks.

fsm, baybuh, we hung out for a while uptown, even went on a free tour through the Mint Museum of Craft and Design. Didn't leave that area 'til about 4pm-ish? Then we drove around "old-money" CLT, enjoying the beautifully-landscaped yards, tree-lined streets, and, natch, the "booty loop." :D
Sorry we missed you, but we'll set it up again for October. :)
On topic: I finally shook myself of ScumCom. I likes me my Cingular. :)

Any Pics? I even had my Camera with me :(
October I will be out of town from the 12th to the 28th.
I use Sprint, I have found over the years they all suck, one way or another.

Columbus Day weekend. Save the date! :)
Any and all pics were made last night. I'll leave it to polara as to whether he wishes to post....
All those years of watching StarTrek, who knew it wasn't Kirk's communicator that was the science fiction, it was his reception? The man could talk to space through two miles of stone, my phone won't work in my house because I have a tin roof.

I had that problem all the time when I was with T-Mobile (albeit 6 years ago). Ever since I have had Verizon (since 2002), I have never had a problem.

My phone does this all the time, and it's really annoying.
And it seems like every time I trade an older phone in for a newer one (because the old ones won't work with the "new" system), the new one is far worse than the old one. I remember having a Motorola StarTac that NEVER lost service in my normal area, and when I upgraded, the new phone had dead spots everywhere.
It's a PITA.

Heck, my Motorola brick-phone had the best reception and sound-quality of ANY phone I've ever had.

This has happened a couple of times on Verizon but they've been pretty solid over all.
