Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Though an act of divine intervention, I just came into possesion of a Park Tool stand today. It appears to be an industrial strength one, very heavy, with a PRS-13 on the headstock. It looks like it is mounted on a handtruck type body, with large rubber wheels on the back. I guess I could post a picture in anyone wants to see it. The previous owner used to put bikes together at XMart dept. stores. I couldn't find any infomation for the PRS-13 on their website.
Does anyone know what the value is on one of these?

I have actually only run across a few of these over the years, they seem to be quite rare. A local shop has one that they use for display use occasionally but besides it and ones that I have seen in team trucks they seem to be nonexistant. I am sure that they were quite expensive in their day probably in the 300 to 400 dollar range like the shop stands are today. Anyone else have a better answer?

For a regular Pro stand --single arm-- the retail would be close to $700. new. A used specialized stand, like yours, might be worth half that if you found somebody who wanted it badly enough.
Any shop mechanic who might want one could buy it wholesale and could probably weld a hand truck to it.
I only remember seeing the guys assembling bikes at Kmart once. But they were using rather cheap portable stands. Worth about $100. new; not at all what you have described.

Here is the rack, along with the 2 hp air compressor that came with it. The rack is very sturdy and weighs at least 50 lbs.
The only thing I can find wrong with it is that the head will not open enough to clamp onto my Cannondale's big top tube.

I would not clamp your aluminum tube if I were you.... it can crush like a coke can..... It's always best to clamp your seatpost instead.

Thanks, George, I never thought of that! I'll try that tomorrow. And sorry for the lawn. It looks like crap. I broke my weedeater a few weeks ago, and with the copious amount of rain we have been having lately, its either work in the yard or ride. Guess which one I choose everytime?
