I would chop both of them up, make them into some kind of loaf, then wrap it in foil, and leave the whole mess in the freezer for all eternity.

Not my freezer, mind you.

Um. No. Le Sun dries out my skin. I actually have an electric food dehydrator for lesser epidermi. :rolleyes: Pffffft!

I'd hold out for bass. Definitely.

Quail and jerky are fine foods, mind you. They're just not as special.

I would go for BBQ or some variation thereof. It would take a whole covey of quail to make enought jerky to pique my interest. Cows are big and easily make good jerky, quails are small. Small foods are good for "on a stick" cooking. I may just go for quail on a stick.
