Substituting 2 shots of bourbon in place of the lime also works well. :)

Buy a case of Tab and a case of regular Coke.
Open a can of Tab and pour it into the sink.
Open a can of Coke and pour it into the empty Tab can.
Voila!
Your Tab now tastes like a regular soda.

But then you ruin the bourbon by contaminating it with lime. OK, maybe if you're using the cheap stuff this would be alright.
