So, this is the first week where I don't have consulting work. In the past my week was Monday and Tuesday in the office handling questions and doing development - Wednesday and Thursday, Finca Leola business. Friday back in durance vile.

End of the weekend - more Finca Leola business and some rest.

This week - what day is it anyway? Bad enough I don't even know what month it is half the time because the weather never changes - now I swear I am not sure the day of the week.

Not that I am complaining you understand... :D

Does anybody really know what time it is?

Does anybody really care?

(About time?)

If so, I can't imagine why...

I'm just glad this thread doesn't have an amazing photo of some tropical heaven.

.. if it did. I would have been.. TO'ed. Oh yea.

- my days are measured by trash days: if it's trash only, it's Monday... if it's trash and recycling (i *always* recycle), it's Thursday...

- otherwise, the day of the week is meaningless (i don't watch TV)...

Work hard grasshopper for maybe another 30 years and you too can live in a place like this...

On the down side - I got whipped in a race on horses today by two youngsters riding another horse - BAREBACK! I let them win, honest...

Hey, looks like you have one of those black obelisks from 2001: A Space Odyssey in Costa Rica. Cool!

That was taken by me on a trail called the path of the Nispero. Very cool place. Obviously volcanic rock.

Well, maybe a little wanting to rub it in but really just enjoying the new week (and tormenting Pheard a bit).

I was referring to the large, black border on the left. :)

But the scenery is quite pretty as well.

How about the water fall at Rio Celeste for the party - this is the real color.

Do you know what minerals are in the water that make it turn that color? Very pretty.

That second picture almost looks like a pool full of aerogel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerogel) or something. Trippy.

Well - it comes out of an ancient volcano - I am thinking sulfur. There is no smell that I have noticed though. There are hot springs in the area.

I am sure when Joe and Shadiyah visit down here they won't mind visited this oddity - it is about 10 miles from us (mas or menos)
