Foo - The Good Side of the Resthome.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Yeah, so everybody hates rest homes and nobody wants to end up in one but what if there are actually some good sides? I'm trying to think of something good about living in a rest home. So far all i've come up with is crapping your pants, but that doesn't really seem all that exciting at 38. Maybe it will get more appealing as i grow older?
You get your pills in those little cups.
Also, rest homes get The Old Folks Channel. All Matlock and Wheel of Fortune, all the time!

It's no secret. Preventing being in a situation like that is the one instance where I would happily kill myself.
Not much better than being kept alive by life support machines a la Metallica's "One"/Johnny Got His Gun, is the only thing I can think of.
It'd be pretty hard to kill yourself while laying in a crib, sans arms, legs, speech, sight, and hearing. :)

To quote my uncle "the day they tell me tomorrow I'll be bed ridden for the rest of my life is the day my Harley and I go off a cliff."

If you are a man and half-way ambulatory, you'll have all the action you can stand. Women greatly outnumber the men, and they are all on the prowl.
