I have a nice fleece sweater that's perfect for a cool fall day, but it has a lot of lint and cat hair stuck to it. I've tried sticking it in the wash with cold water and mild detergent, and it hasn't helped. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can remove lint and cat hair from my fleece?

Duct tape wrapped around your hand. Sticky side out. Replace with a new strip when it picks up too much fuzz.

first reply is winnar. or invest in one of those stickyroller things if this is a common problem. can't go wasting duct tape.

Air fluff in the dryer when wet for about 30 minutes (no heat) before you hang it to dry. In between washings, get the sticky roller things. One 6-pack from Costco will last you a long time.

Tape will work for the lint and hair. As for crap, I've never had to remove crap from fleece before. :p

I use one of those lint remover brushes, with the red ridged fabric head. As a long-term cat owner, pretty much everything I own is covered in cat fur, with the occasional piece of lint. The brushes work well for me.

Just avoid it getting on your clothes in the first place. Shave the cat.

Get one of these lint rollers. it has a sticky-side-out roll of tape on it.
