I have found a wheel that was dropped off the back of a car. If you have recently lost a wheel please email me at toshiw@yahoo.com and tell me every detail about the wheel, where you were going when you dropped it. if all the information matches I will send you the wheel.

--I know this is an almost hopeless endeavor, but it will settle my conscience...plus it may find its way back to its owner (crossing fingers).

You may have already thought of this but bike shops have bulletin boards both real and sometimes virtual on websites. A notice there may be more fruitful.
Also most local clubs have websites and there may be email or bulletin boards on these that might connect better. Steve
