Hello to all!
Currently i have begun a search for a new road bike, that can also be converted into a tri bike. This coming spring i plan to begin competing in tris and duathlons. Price range...im thinking 3k is the highest i want to go.
What i have been looking at or suggested to look at...Madone 5.1, Cervelo Soloist Team and Soloist Carbon, Cannondale six13's and systemsixs...
Currently i ride a Fuji Finest AL (2003) and being that i am so comfortable on it i have though of just getting another Fuji...something like the Fuji Team Pro or the Roubaix LTD.
But what else is out their...colnago, specialized, giant...etc etc.
could i simply build a bike? i mean would 3 get me a better bike if i bought everything and had it put together?
What i am looking for...
A road bike first and foremost, but that also has the ability to covert to tri bike. I definetly want a lighter bike then my current fuji. Much better components (i think right now i have the shimano sora). I just want a solid bike that is smooth yet stiff and responsive!
I'm not sure what else to put down since i dont know a whole lot about this!
thanks!
