I signed up myself and my wife, Tricia, for the MS 150. She's a bit worried, and when she's worried, I get worried.
This ride is 70 miles 1 day and 80 the next. With some climbing. It's the climbing that's the issue. We did Seattle to Portland (200 miles, 2 days) and she was rock solid. But she doesn't do any big climbing.
So, if I disappear after next weekend, you'll know why.
(Don't worry, I'll have my estate take care of the 50+ jersey order)

Stay with her on the hills. Support her all the way and you'll both be fine.
what worked for Mrs. M. was a triple chain ring with a granny...made a HUGE difference on our climbs when riding road
that's her catching up to me (might have to click on the jpeg if it's not open hmmm...)

Tell her to drink some wine, while on the ride and then she wont care if she makes it or not, just saying.

It has to be better than being a bridge partner.
Just a word of advice:
If she walks you walk. ;)
Take a lesson from me, If you tell her to stay on your wheel and you will pull up the hill, be very careful to not drop her. Very careful.

The very fact that she's going to do the ride is a good sign for your marriage. My wife won't go near a bike. Stay relatively close and you two will be fine. Or at least pre-arrange to allow some slack so you can power up some of the hills and then wait. Don't do it on all the hills though as she'll feel abandoned on the toughest part of the ride. And also, make sure she has some low gears as suggested above.
