It's not too bad. There's a shoulder on the eastbound side, which is more than I can say about the westbound side east of Palomares.

Hey Pete,

Where are you starting this ride? I'm probably not in shape for this but I'm going to give it some serious
thought.

John hey John, I think if we were blind folded, you and I would make it all the way to the top without hitting anything ,we've done that ride so many times : ). If I end up doing this I can put your bike in the bike rack and we'll start from Mikes Bikes, that way we don't have to do the corkscrew on the way back. I'm somewhat in doubt right now, they've screwed around with these medications and I'm having a bad reaction and pretty sick right now. I hope you still do it though. I think you would would enjoy the BF'rs they're a great group and you've got a lot of war stories from back in the day. I'll give you a call over the weekend, maybe you, I and Cathy can do an easy one.
Later, good to hear from you.
Pete

You know, I can just about visualize in my mind, the entire route from Fairfax to the summit. Every
rise and fall, turn, and all the places where I suffer. I still remember the section where I crashed riding
with Baddogs.
I forgot if I asked, but why are you on meds? Allergies?
John

Sassy and I are doing this one. Hope some of you can make it 110 miles of fun. I don't think there is much climbing - but it didn't really say.

I've done the wine and cheese, it's eaaaasy! I grew up in Modesto, most everything is flat out here until you get to the foothills and then they're just foothills.
