BMX - Ever heard of a DE TOMASSO Bmx ???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Some time ago I purchased a red and white bmx branded De Tomasso. It has sakae cranks ,red chain, very big handlebars (trick bmx???) and it says pro on the dropouts. The logo is a big T in the front. I dont know anything about bmx ... at all . I just want to know if anyone ever heard of De Tomasso, if so I would be very happy because there is no mention of this brand on the internet. Is it even worth buying wheels to sell it (there are no wheels) ? I will post pictures later. Thanks a lot!

DeTomaso was a car manufacturer from all I know.

Yeah it was a car company, but no bike company from what i know.
Maybe someone just stuck on some DeTomaso stickers.

I will post pics when I get home, it is De Tomasso and not De Tomaso like the car company. The bike looks well made and the paint and decals is more something you would find on an italian race bike than a bmx.Based on my google searches its as if it never existed

Post that over in the Classic and Vintage section, they could probably help.
CW copy bars and welded-on frame platforms. I'm going to guess that this is from around '85. Can you get a picture of the dropout from the side so we can see the cutout?

Well, you have to break some eggs to make an omelette, right?
