I'm toying with the idea of a tandem so dh & I can ride together. There is an ad on Craigslist for a Crestline, but I can't seem to find any info about it & there is no picture with the ad.

I don't want to spend a lot on a tandem until I know we like riding one.

Here's another Craigslist entry for a Crestline with a photo.

Crestline's are on par with the current Ebay and Big-Box store-quality tandems. Not fancy, just a basic steel-framed all terrainish tandem bike with value-level components. They sold new for around $500 - $600 back in the 90's.

Thank you. I was wondering if it was Walmart quality or better.

I believe I've seen that frame marketed under so many brands.
Fiori, Norco, Genesis, and BBC are a few I've seen so far.
We had one of those as our first tandem.
