Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Huba Huba Zoot Zoot lols YAY!
Lets go ride bikes :D
most annoying song evar. By the way, some of that wasn't a problem with the capabilities of the hummer, some of it was people who think an expensive SUV is all the skill needed to go play with the real 'froaders. I'm sure if you could somehow coax one of those other guys to hop in the H1, it could have made it up the climb.
The H2 at the beginning though, that's just stupid. Especially with stock parts, those things have no business even trying to navigate anything dicier than country gravel roads.

Honestly looks like the new Jeep commercials where they go through historical moments and the jeep just passes on through. Hummers blow. You can have something 100X better for 1/2 the price at least.
BTW, I don't know if the H1 would have made that hill. It's too heavy and too long. That's probably why the jeep got right up. H1's are sick though.

I'm still to see one touch dirt in person.
The H2 isn't a Hummer anyway.
The guy in the actual Hummer just looked like he was afraid to ding his $120,000 truck.

I hear ya. I go mild (VERY mild, nothing like the stuff in the video which is still somewhat tame) off-roading in my Explorer on occasion. Mostly, it's for taking enough crap and bikes to the lake for a weekend of partying, though.
If you're gonna spend too much cash on something and go off-roading, at least make it a $30K Rubicon, not $60k on a stupid re-skinned suburban.

:p I've seen that vid a few times (usually posted on a Jeep bulletin board). The H1 *can* be pretty badass in the right scenario with the right driver, but they're not the best for tight twisty trails.
Wheeling certainly can't be bought (though a Jeep Rubicon is a step in the right direction) - it takes a skilled driver in a properly built rig .
