BST ride in Barrington?

I was thinking about going this Sunday for 45 or 62 miler , but it is not even clear from the description how many rest stops they have , etcc....

not to get too sidetracked, but why can't anyone just ride up to robbie ventura? does he have a posse that blocks the non-fundraisers??
