Hey - bike path exerciser and noob mtb'er here...

Been riding for as long as I can remember, but never all that seriously until recently. Bought a new mountain bike a couple of months ago (Klein Attitude) and have been hitting the trails in the foothills, mostly Alderfer/Three Sister's Park at Evergreen. Gradually building some skills and confidence.... Lately I've been riding about 60-100 miles per week on the roads and local paths, and spending Sunday mornings out on the singletracks.

Been cruising the forum for a while, and thought I should sign up and post every now and again! I'm a 25 y.o. supply-chain software consultant - moved to Denver from Australia last year. Learnt to ski last winter, and mountain biking seemed like the obvious complimentary sport for the summer!!

Will be picking up a road bike soon... looking forward to doing 'ride the rockies' next year, and fitness permitting, maybe the 'triple bypass' too...

Welcome to the forums and to cycling as well.

How's Denver these days. I almost moved there last year but couldn't due to my wife's illness (long story). Anyways, I've got a couple of friends in Denver and we did some riding when I went out there. I'd love for things to work out so I could move out there. Oh well, you take it as it comes.

I'm flatlander who's ridden this ride the past two years: http://www.cycleamerica.com/peaks2002/main.htm You guys are lucky to have the hills that you do, although I did find some nice ones around Green Lake Wisconsin this past weekend. One of these years if I ever get into mountain biking I'd like to try this ride: http://www.sanjuanhuts.com - the owner is a cousin of mine.
