I read the Sheldon Brown web-site and he doesn't say too much. He mentions that it was a big british builder. He states that the most ornate examples could be worth 1200$. I am buying one for 600$. The components are Suntour Deraileurs and Campagnolo record cranks/hubs. The brakes are universal. I am wondering if they should be upgraded. Can center pulls do the job as good as say 80's Shimano 600 side pulls? I have a set of Shimano 600 I could add on.
I will post pics ASAP. I am hoping to get some user feedback of this make. I am getting it from the original owner. She is also going to include a set of old Zeus pedals. The seatpost is also Zeus. She didn't want to spend the big bucks on campy derailleurs so she opted for Suntour. The derailleur and pulleys looks mint. My guess is that the bike has under 1500 miles on it. The paint is almost spotless. There is a beautiful stainless/chromed chainstay guard brazed on the frame. I haven't seen one of those before. It looks pretty snappy.
