Picked up a new 2008 Felt F1X today. I LOVE IT. Paid $1460.00, purchased from Sunshine Bike Shop (http://www.sunshinebike.com/bikes.htm)

UPDATE: Kendra CX tires suck on pavement, so I changed the rubber to Continental Contact.

I don't know a whole lot about bikes yet, seeing as how I'm new to the cycling scene, but that is a gorgeous bike most definately.

How humongous are you?

At first blush, it looks like that frame is undersized.

Nice bike. Most f1s I see at races show a lot of post.

5'11" 225 with 32" inseam. Although it is how the LBS fit me, I ended up lowering the post by 3 slots. I also swapped the seat since the stock seat was hard as a rock.

Tomorrow I'm swapping out the CX tires for street tires. The stock tires have no sharp-turn grip on dry pavement. I nearly wrecked at the end of my driveway when the front tire started to slip out from under me. Looking at Michelin Transworld City as a replacement. I still haven't decided if I like the chainring setup yet. Bike will be used for fitness and commuting.

I have an '07 and love it. Wonderful bike, but yea, that stock seat is pretty horrible.

Is that the stem that came on yours stock?

Nope, the adjustable stem was put on by my LBS for comfort, the handle bars were too far down for my tastes.

I dig it. Not bad considering the size. Read my review of it here: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=345802

What size frame is it?

nice bike. for sure
stem / seat post... guess you like the comfort cruiser set up :)
most f1x show a lot of seatpost, doesn't look too big for you. I have a 57 with a ton of seatpost!
