What rear derailleur are you using? I can't make it out in the picture.

Oh I think this bike is gonna be a peach. The RD is a Shimano Tourney. My friend that owns the bike shop says it will work better than the old Schwinn RD. I'm not so sure I like it. The cogs are really large and the whole thing seems to big for the overall look of the bike but if it works thats all I really care about. The FD is a combination of the original which was very nicely chromed but the actual derailleur cage was a mess so I ordered a NOS that was cadmium plate but used the cage from it on the old one and fit right up. It remains to be seen if will work well. I have a Shimano 105 in reserve that I will have to make a ring to fit the smaller diameter of the Schwinn seat tube but thats an easy lathe job if I have to use it or in case I just decide I want to change it out. I haven't gotten the crankset from the seller on e-bay then I find out they are really slow shipping and this from California to Washington state. This will be my last transaction from them unless I have no other source. Will keep posting the pics as I am really excited about this bike. I worked on making my assembly space a bit more user friendly today. I installed a new flourescent shop light and moved some of the bikes to the basement. I really should have move the bike assembly down there and I might end up doing that if this project drags on into really cold weather and the heater out there doesn't do the job.
