I didn't feel like spending a couple hundred $$ or more on lights since I don't ride much at night, so I bought a couple Two Fish flashlight holders for my handlebars. The flashlights are both 3W LEDs and are very bright alone, so with both of them aimed slightly to the sides, I get awesome light that spreads across even wide 3-lane streets and probably 100ft or so ahead of me.

The mounts were $10 for the pair and the flashlights were $30 each at Target. Not a bad deal.

No rear light yet. I'll get to that.

I bought the mounts online because my LBS was out of stock. Just Google TwoFish flashlight holders and you'll find them.

This'll work too: (and you could pop in some Cree LEDs for even more brightness!)
