Hey, I scored a GT Mach One Expert for $50 on Craigslist. I'm 21 and this is my first BMX since before I got my license(16 yrs) and I am looking to fix it up enough to get back into riding. Used to ride a nice Powerlite so I figure I have fairly high expectations. For now all the components are stock, as lame from a one piece crank to plastic pedals  Going for urban riding, not flatland, and some dirt jumping.

This is a package I am looking at, it should be good enough even to give me back up parts. Any Advice?

Thanks in advance, I'll have pictures of the bike later tonight.

I wouldn't buy those parts. All of those parts packages are pretty terrible.

Thanks for the advice. I think I am going to replace things as they need to be. I got my seat post lowered and am now shopping for new wheel sets. I weigh 225lbs and am trying to get back to my sub 170lb days.

Anyone want to point me to a reputable but affordable BMX part company? And some decent wheels in the $100 price range?

A wheelset for $100 isn't going to happen. A front wheel for $100, yes. A back wheel for $100, probably not.

You're a pessimist. Check eBay if you're on a budget.
