"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Powerman Ohio Road Race

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anyone else doing it? This is going to be my last non-'cross race of 2007, so if I'm going to meet up with anyone from BF, then this is the last chance.
I'll be racing in the 4/5's, BTW since they only have four categories, and none of them are strictly junior or 4's.
As a sidenote: I hate the name of this race. "Powerman" sounds like an early 90's Saturday morning kid's show, or a crappy pop-metal band that thought they were hardcore because they had tattoos and piercings and sang about the end of the world.

I'll be there, assuming I wake up early enough. Do you know anything about the course?

I can only guess. It is in Mohican, which is a camp, and a mountain bike trail. I know that the road leading to the trailhead is smooth and has rolling hills, but I can't remember the name of the road. All of the roads I've seen out there are rolling hills and good asphalt.

I did this race last year and it is a good course (assuming the route is the same.) There are two hills back to back that are decent but not back breakers. They are hard enough, however, to make a selection. This is a course for you Bill.
