The Chicago Tribune reports that the Wauconda School Board banned bicycling to school at a third school in five years based on safety concerns. Story:

I don't know about the rest of you, but I rode to school from the first grade, lots of kids did it, I never felt unsafe, and it was never questioned or prevented by the school board. Could the safety hazard be all those parents driving their kids to schoolthese days? The article doesn't explore this issue at all...
