It sounds as if you would have a wealth of travel photos!
Any of Peruvian orchids (one of my lifelong interests...)?
Welcome to BF!

Finland-- Juha --Profile says you are located in Helsinki. Your English is not only flawless, but quite coloquial, where were you born and how the English? I was born in Heinola, parents moved to Canada in 1953, my wife & I live in Tucson AZ. Juha-- that's Juhanni, yes/no?
Orchids-- I took photos/slides, I see flowers, my wife knows plants and their names. I remember one trip by train from Cuzco to Macchu Picchu, along the banks/by the track were orchids.
Sorry I'm not as knowledgable as I believe you are about flowers. I like to look at flowers but I don't know their names; I have about 160 flower photos/slide, I'll check with my wife to see if I have any orchids.
I just found BF and thanks for the welcome. I've been on other bike forums for some time, I find BF to be by far the most expansive. I'm trying to get a feel for where, what is...

You quite possibly have photos of some of the Masdevallia species. Any of the orchids would be of interest!

Hash, "Juha" is the full first name, but I believe it shares its origins with Juhani. I'm all Finnish, I have lived in greater Helsinki area all my life. Heinola is a magnificent place in the summer, nice cycling and lots of waterways. Have you been here since 1953?
And thanks for the compliments. I've had some good teachers with lots of patience. And I work in a field where English is the lingua franca today, so fortunately I get to use it.

Hey Juha;
I was 10 when my parents moved & no I've never been back. I've looked at Heinola via google earth, I didn't realize there were so many lakes. Looks nice. My mother was born in Rovaniemi, I have relatives from north to south. I can still speak Finnish, but it's broken and/or slow. I understand just about everything.
My wife went through all my slides, lot's of pictures but no orchids, sorry about that. Are you interested in any other flowers from South America, I might have some...?
