I just picked up a pair of new-old-stock Campy Euclid Shifters. They have this weird post that sticks out the base and was supposed to insert into the Campy Euclid brake levers; that was the only way they were supposed to attach to the handlebars. Alas, I have no matching brake levers. Has anyone tried to rig something up with hose clamps, bar stock, etc.?

All I have to say is that the Euclid brake levers are possibly the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

And this coming from someone with yellow hoods on his bike. :)

For your information, yellow and orange were the only colors left in stock.

I like them.

I agree that the Euclid levers are ugly. Wasn't Euclid contemporary with C-Record? I guess they kept their best designers working on road stuff.

I have a set of those levers and shifters. They're even uglier in person than they are in pictures. I doubt if I'll ever use them.

The headset in my avatar is a Euclid. It's big and clunky like the rest of the group.
