Hey all -
I did my first competitive ride on a bike yesterday as a relay team in the Atomic Man Tri. It was also my first time to ride more than 32 miles in one sitting, and I finished half an hour earlier than predicted. My bike time wasn't great, but as a newb, I was pleased. Well, I really want to do something like that again, but I'm having trouble finding a website that has event postings for the TN region. I'd like to do some charity rides to get a feel of a mass start ride, but I'm not ready for a century, which is what I mostly see. Any hints/tips? BTW, I would like to do a century at some point, so I'm not ruling it out.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,

Are you looking for more races? Or just organized rides?

If it's the latter, one event you might consider is the Smoky Mountain Wheelmen Fall Century (http://www.smwbike.org/Century/Century_2007.htm). They're offering 25 and 62 mile options.

I'm for organized rides right now. I'd love to do that ride, but I'm out of town that week. I did find a link to the Tour de Nantahala which I'm considering
