My buds and I are doing the 500 mile Tejas time trials this weekend, which is a RAAM qualifying event. I'm hoping to get a chance at breaking the 20 mile lap record. AFAIK, my best practice lap has only been 2m30x behind.

Don't have the energy to post the whole report, but dang did we have fun! 500 miles in 25.5 hours, and I set a course record, completing the horribly hilly loop in 50 minutes.

...yet they still say bents can't climb....
