Oh you don't have anything to worry about ... I'll add you to the roster.
Spin - please scratch me from the maybe list... the boss has other plans that day. Have fun! Maybe I'll make it to the next ride. :(

Your boss sounds mean. Maybe its time to look for a new "job"? ;)

I would but my "salary" and any residual income would be cut in half! hahahaha! Especially with a 6yo and one in the oven... Doh! :(

Aw, that's too bad. You can always do an out and back, but I understand if you're not up to strength, especially after a cold.
Oy, this is coming up pretty soon, innit? I'm no more ready now than I was a month ago. Heh. Out of curiosity, what's this "out and back"? Shorter route for those who find themselves bereft of energy?
Eek, 9am start time means I have to leave the house by 7am. That'll be fun.

Well, if you want to do the out and back, it would tkae Calaveras across the 680, and I believe there is a small store a little bit after that. I figure we could stop there for a little bit, then those that want to continue on will, and for those the want to go back, they can back track their way. I believe the intersection is at Pleasanton-Sunol Rd, but not sure.
About how long in dsitance and time do you think the out and back option would be? I ask because I might be able to sneak that in before I have to get back and help with some school functions later that evening...
Thanks!

Out and back would be about 40 miles. It skips the Palomares climb.

Thanks !

Other than possibly X, anyone else doing the out and back route?
I'm back to a strong maybe but since I haven't been on the bike since the MS ride and I've been eating crap I figure I'd better take it easy. Plus I need to get back by a certain time.

Well, I'm not riding if it rains. I can deal with wet ground, but riding in rain sucks. I'm gonna have to commute back home in the rain today.
the forecast says it'll be dry (chilly, but dry) tomorrow.

I love commuting in the rain. In fact I'm hoping its still raining when I go home tonight.;)
Fenders, booties, and helmet covers are your friends. Don't be afraid of looking like Fred.:D

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't mind looking like a fred. I'm just totally not ready for the rain. Oh well, at least I brought a jacket today.

Sorry to flip-flop again, but I think I'm going to bail out on tomorrow's ride. It's the Pumpkin festival here in Half Moon Bay, and traffic is miserable. I don't think I want to drive anywhere tomorrow. I'll go for a local ride instead.
Hope to see you all next time.

If the roads are wet, and it is sprinkling, then I won't ride ... but just because I advertised it on here, I'll be at the start.

Other than possibly X, anyone else doing the out and back route? As much as I'd like to try to do the whole thing, I'm feeling pretty crappy today, so if I make it at all tomorrow, I'll almost certainly be doing the out-and-back.
And if I drive all the way out there at the crack of dawn, I'm riding rain or shine. :D

I'll be out there. No rain, partly sunny, so definitely riding today.
Sheesh. I get the bike all ready, I get everything ready, and then... I sleep in until 7:30. Good job, me.
Sorry I missed you guys. Hope you have a good ride.
