Hi All,
A few of us bike commuters in the DC METRO area are trying to establish a bike buddy system for safer post-dark riding/commuting in the winter months. We're looking for a couple of energized volunteers to help us get the website/program up and running (looks like WABA is going to let us run the site through them). Right now just looking for some creative or admin-oriented folks interested in helping take the lead on this all-volunteer initiative. Want to join the team (we have four so far)? Would be great to get another woman on board...
AM ALSO LOOKING FOR ANY EXISTING SYSTEM IN ANY CITY THAT'S WORKING WELL. Suggestions?
