Hey all,
I've been registered on here for a few years but never really been active. I've had bikes on and off for years, but never really got serious. Well, I now need and want to get serious about riding. At this point, a 4 mile ride gets me winded so I know I need to build up endurance. I just picked up a Randonee with the aspirations of doing centuries and rides like the MS150. Other than the obvious of saddle time, any other recommendations?
Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to the insanity that is regular forum participation! Make sure you're enjoying your time on the bike. If so, you'll naturally want to ride more, and the distance will come. And be sure to drop by the SoCal subforum and say hi to others in the area.

Saddle time is good. That is actually the best recommendation :) .

Hey Chris. Good luck with your new machine and your ambition to do longer rides. Ah yeah, welcome to BikeForums! :)
