With the riveted cage I'd tend to think Victory or Triomphe. C-Record had internals interchaageable with NR, including the rifling, which I don't see here.

I recall the Chorus pedals having screw on cages, but it's a fuzzy memory. Could be wrong on that. Chorus did have a larger interface with the crankarm, which I think I see here. Victory with Chorus spindle?

I have this same pedal and it was ID'd as Victory when I bought it. Of course the correctness of the ID is dependent on the seller actually knowing what he was talking about. :D

(Later) A review of ye olde Campag catalogs would tend to confirm Victory.

Agreed, Victory. Considerebly heavier than teh similar C-record. I have both on different bikes, and the Victory is still a great pedal.

Likely no difference at all. Dustcaps, maybe? By 1990 Campy was acknowledging the snap-in pedal thing (note the SGRs in the Chorus pic) and was not developing new clip and strap pedals.

As I wrote before, I recall Chorus having detachable cages, but not clearly enough to be sure. There was also something different about the Chorus pedal/crankarm interface, but it may have been a crankarm difference only.

I need to take back my Triomphe possibility from the previous post--Triomphe had a huge (relatively) cast body including rear cage.

The Victory pedals that I have have the toe clip attaching on the top of the pedal, and the C Record pedals have the toe clip attaching underneath. The clips are not interchangeable. The C Record pedals had replaceable back "cage" parts, while the victory pedals were riveted. I'm working from an '85 Trek with a full Victory group...I'm pretty sure that the parts are all original to that bike. YMMV for later years - as the trickle down effect always works at Campy.
