I know there's already a ride buddy thread but it's pretty unwieldy at this point. I am looking for a casual ride buddy or two. I avg. about 16mph and I'm good for 30+mi and ready for 50 soon.
Worcester is a bit of a hike for me (2+ hours), but if you're ever north of the border and looking to ride, let me know. Your pace is exactly what I tend to do.

I think I'll be giving that seacoast century a run next year. I used to live in Durham and really love the area.

I saw those Tom and thanks, I'm not sure that we'd be compatible, pace/distance wise in a small group. There are some groups around here (including an Easy C ride) that look promising but I feel a bit awkward joining up with them this late in the season as they're all geared up from a season of riding and I'm still something of a newbie.

All I an suggest is give them a shot ;) Don't worry about "awkward". If they don't want to you join in this season, don't feel offended if they aren't open to the idea, but don't be surprised if they are open to you joining them (These groups). The only way you'll find out is make the contact. ;)
