I can't help you with direct advice; but try the IHPV group.

Find the trike list. Tons of data in the archive and a great mail list to be on. There are
a lot of folks there who love to help.

OK, first what kit are you going to build?

The Bare Bones Kit?($550.00)
If your going to build the Bare Bones kit, you will need to cut and miter tubes, weld or braze the tube joints, sew the seat cover, paint the frame, build the wheels etc. If you can't do most of the work yourself you won't save any money building it from the Bare Bones kit.

The Basic kit($750.00)
Would be very much like building the Bare bones kit, You will still need to do some fitting and welding of the rear frame section. It sounds like they send you a welded up front frame section.

Or the Delux kit?($1450.00)
You get a frame ready for paint, you need to finish the seat cover and build up the trike. At the price you cant beat this.

(As a welder I would charge at least this much if you brought me all the raw tubes to miter and weld)

Hmmm, you know.......... I want a trike to add to the fleet, maybe I'll build one
