Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hurray. I get my free, much needed, first tune-up. Yay no more badly out of round wheels. My bike also needs, to be checked out since my last fall in which it and i hit the ground hard. It's felt a little off since then. Also i will need new brake fluid, cables adjusted, hubs adjusted(maybe), derailluer adjusted, and thats all i can think of for now. The shop gives me three months to have my first free tune up. Three months will be october 6th. When i called the shop they were surpised to hear from me, i hadn't been ther ein like a month, which is a pretty impressive streek

Why would a three month old bike need new brake fluid?
so it stays new and most importantly 'fresh':p.

my fluid has been in use for much longer than 3 months and it still feels pretty fresh.

to tell you the truth you might be right they might not change the fluid. anyways he said that he would try to get it done by tomorrow. which i have never heard. Then i told that i had a relativly large crash the other day. His response made me feel better about going to the shop. He knew who i ride with and he new my name which i have never told him?

If you brought it to our shop, we would feel the brakes and if they were fine, tell you they were bled to make you happy.
