Mountain Biking - Any Interbike Pic Requests?

We're leaving the land of silly-cone and free drinks tomorrow afternoon, just wondering if there was anything specific people not in Vegas would like to see.

Yeah, anything that catches your interest enough to point your camera at it. We're easy to please.

Check the Lahr booth and tell me more about that CVT gearbox.
Any new Sunline components (and if Jason Schippers is there, tell him 'Hi' for me).

Yah...I've heard that a couple of manufacturers are hoping to "revolutionize" bikes with a new style (not Nuvinci) internally geared system that will clean up the Rohloff's pitfalls of weight and shift lag under power.

I'd buy it! (but hey, I'd buy Rohloff if I could afford it too:))

We spent some quality time at the Lahr booth, neat concept,we'll shoot more pics but they'll be everywhere soon. Gear ratios are 1:1 to 1:3. In short, rocker cams roll over a delrin hub that is roughly a cone shape. As the rockers move across the cone gear ratio is changed....
that made no sense at all but the pics will help.

Saw the sunline stuff, should we say "Dminor from the internet" gives a shoutout?:p

Haven't been too impressed with Gboxx stuff as of yet. Either companies are holding their cards or the engineering has reached a stalemate.

I want to get my hands on the Surly Big Dummy and would like to know/see any updates regarding this frameset. All the current information out there is pretty old and I figured Interbike would offer more news. So any info/pics on the Big Dummy would be greatly appreciated.

I'm intrigued by the boxes but I'm less impressed with the mounting systems. I realize thatmaking the box a stressed-member saves weight; but then frame/suspension design is held 'hostage' to a certain degree by the physical design of the box itself. I'd like to see it a more independent unit in a cradle frame of some sort.

Awwww crap, Dminor. I totally forgot to swing back by the lahr booth to snap pics. It's really hard to understand how big the show is if you haven't been there and it's so easy to get distracted or sidetracked in the precious few minutes you have between meetings. It was my first year going with BMW and I was totally blown away at just the floorplan of the place. It's tremendous.

They're ditching the inner ring guide and have this little jimmy jammy whipped up for prototype. Basically it sandwiches your chain between the colorful poly guard and bashring of your choice, and the lower roller keeps everything under wraps. It's a really simple approach to retention:

Another approach to retention that caught our eyes was wicked racing's product. It's a modified front XT der. that has the chainguide plates integrated into the shimano piece. There is a second bracket around the BB for a roller. The claim is that they have never had a dropped chain, and while we're skeptical of hyperbole, we're anxiously waiting for ours to arrive in the mail to test out.

V-boxx is indeed a very sanitary, relatively-compact-looking unit.

I'd seen some advance on the wicked shifter-guide; they put one of my goofy idea/dreams into production. (Wish I had access to a machine shop so that I could turn my doodles into things.)
