What are your favourite reggae songs?

I'll go with 'Johnny Was' by Bob Marley and the Wailers, 'A Message to you Rudy' and 'Ghosttown' by the Specials (yeah I know, technically 'ska"), 'What'cha Gonna Do?' by Peter Tosh.

If anyone mentions anything by UB40 or the Police I'll farkin' spew.:p

I actually like the Signing Off album from UB40, and the songs Buzz Feeling & Mi Spliff are kind of fun.

Just about anything from the early period of the Greensleeves label and 80s dancehall.

Some of my very favorite reggae stuff came out on Greensleeves - Yellowman, Eek-A-Mouse, Barrington Levy, etc. Almost all of it was produced by the late Henry "Junjo" Lawes and featured the amazing Roots Radics backing band.

Also love roots reggae from Horace Andy, Black Uhuru, Abbyssinians, etc.
