Porsche Full Suspension XC Bike (it would be kinda cool to ride just for the wow factor on the name):

Fastrax American Eagle! (take a close look at the way the shock passes through the seat tube):

Bwaaaahaaaahaaaa!
Full Suspension Oversized Downhill Forks Removeable Mudflaps:

Notice the text on the downtube..."TANK" - yeah, like it weighs as much as an M-1 maybe?
Do these things really sell? (they must...because there are plenty of them listed)...

i like on the last one the fork description...
Fork: OVER SIZE SSS downhill suspension Long Shaft
so the "SSS" stands for Shinny ****ty Steel?
and is "long shaft" related to long travel, or that it is literally a long shaft of steel?

Actually, for the current bid on the Porshe bike, you're getting a full XTR groupo and Magura Disc brakes. You could throw the rest away and still have a pretty good deal. Bike looks cool, but I wouldn't ride it!

It was interesting to look at the other items for sale by the Porsche seller. A spectrum analyser, a confederate sword, a German paratrooper helmet, 2 rather exotic bicycles and a whole bunch of Mary Kay cosmetics.

I've seen a Porchse bike or two around the island and LBS. They're OK, nothing special other then the name. Tank bikes are a favorite among the rental fleet operators.

not everything on Ebay is crap. I just scored a 2001 Specialized P3 for 475 plus shipping. I think that was a pretty good deal. It was a lbs display model/demo bike.

OMG! Did you see what people were paying for these things back in 2001?? Check the reviews on MTBR...it's a sickness.

Those Porsche bikes look pretty neat. I'd like to be able to give one a spin before buying, though.
