This is a great ride to improve climbing. The first leg is a good bit o work, then the second is a climb up Mt Hamilton. Im thinking I will get started around 9:30 or so from the bottom of Mt Hamilton. Pace will be pretty mellow, I will be doing intervals on the Mt Hamilton climb. Plenty of re-groups. So who wants sore and tired legs?:D Its about 58 miles and 8600ft of climbing.

I'm out of town this weekend or I'd tag along... hopefully another time though! if I can get the Tam climb in at the end of October, I want to do Hamilton before the year is up so I can do all three (Hamilton, Tam, Diablo) in the same year :)

What's the route? I was actually thinking of torturing myself going up Quimby to the top tomorrow. I haven't been on the bike since Sunday, busy with work, band rehearsals and hosting Halo 3 parties.

Hey, I think the Waves to Wine route passes by or through(?) part of Mt. Tam! You may see a few of us near there! :)

Im a 190 lber, I prefer to do my own rides rather then a short hillclimb. Maybe next year I will be in better shape for the low key hill climbs. I get one day on the weekend to ride.

"The philosophy of the Low-Key series is to allow each cyclist, no matter what his or her level, no matter what his or her speed, to establish goals, and meet them. It's all about the hill, the rider, and being at one with the bike. We'll see you there."

It's not like the results matter; these aren't sanctioned events. And who says that's all you have to do for the day?

Keep 'em in mind...one a week through November 22...
