Any old skool guys ever hear of them? Google comes up empty on MTB's. Seems as tho the BMX'rs are highly regarded. But no info on the MTB's Anyone familar with them? I don't know how original it is. I did put new grips on and replaced the back tire as the bead on the old one was fragged

Enjoy the pic's!

I think it's just a generic MTB with a Heavy as F*ck decal, they never made MTB's.

But like I said, it's a coveted BMX.

Not really. It's an alum frame. Rather light actually

I thought that too but it is a one piece wrap around sticker on the downtube with accurately placed die cut holes for the water bottle cage screws. When you consider how centered the decal is on the downtube I have to think it was more than just a random happenstance.

They never made them that we know of. Who knows what happened in the back room on long holiday weekends after the harvest came in? ;) That doesn't even look like a production HAF decal does it?

Production decal:

My best guess was it was a bored kid who liked his bike enough to do the decal properly, besides, if it was truly an s&m, the dropouts wouldn't be stamped and have ugly welds like those.

Several years back there were rumours of s&m attempting to build mountain bikes. Never heard much beyond that.

A lot of companies do take other brands and rebrand them. If one of their riders was also a mountain biker, they may have rebranded the bike themselves.

I often use my phone as a modem on my laptop, which is even lower than 56k. We still exist :D

So then maybe I'm not smokin' crack? :)

It might be the other stuff you're smoking though.

I still highly doubt it's a s&m, email Chris Moeller?

S&M makes black market (http://www.blackmarketbikes.com/mob.html) bikes.

The bike above is not a black market.

They were going to go into the DH/FR market with big dualies, but nothing other then a rendering came of it.
