I'm looking to get a lugged frame repainted. Want to have it done locally ( Colorado ). Can anyone point me in the direction of a framebuilder who paints their own frames or a painter who specicializes in painting frames? Also an idea of cost if I strip the existing paint myself.
thanks

there is a good sticky on frame painters and some do it your self info in the classic and vintage forum.
FWIW....as part of a rebuild, I stripped a 80's nishiki (steel lugged) using chemical stripper and then rattle canned it......it came out nice, but for the cost and effort, next time I would get it powder coated....unless I had a really cool say classica italian frame and then I might get a pro to paint it.
Look into Spectrum powder works out of Colorado Springs, CO.
