I am thinking of building a bike and I would like some input.
Someone told me about the Maddonna di Campiglio frame and said it was a good one.
I was thinking of putting:
Easton Carbon bars
Campy Chorus group set
and some wheels....
Does anyone have or have you known anyone to buy this brand?
FONDRIEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Great choice in frame!!! IMO (and I am almost never wrong) they are the BEST framesets in the WORLD!!! The Madonna di Campiglio is a great frame. Fondriest is now selling their frames factory direct, and they have slashed their prices in an unbelievable way. The Campiglio was $1699 and is now going for $800. The only frame that has not been discounted is the Top Carbon. It is still $4300. Look for other small Master frame companies like De Rosa (the bike of hearts) to start selling their frames factory direct. Rumor has it that in the fall you will be able to buy one direct from De Rosa for half that. Bub bye price inflating middle men. Great frames for the commoners.
Dude throw down and get the FONDRIEST----you will not be disappointed.

Campy Chorus ---great groupset!!! For added coolness upgrade to the Record Carbon ergo shifters. What wheelset are you thinking about going with?????????????????????????

I have no idea about a wheelset, I have mostly ridden a mountain bike (Kona Cindercone) so I am looking for help...
If you know of a great wheelset that is not too expensive, then i would really appreciate it.
What esle is there besides the parts I have listed?
Campy Chorus
Easton carbon bar
Fondriest Madonna di Campiglio frame
wheels....
and some other stuff I'm sure!!!
:)
G'day Media C., I am back and trying to follow the forum guidelines.
Pickle the Beast ---I would recommend the Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL but I do not know what your budget is. You can get them at www.totalcycling.com for a great price. If you are on a budget you can go with the Mavic Ksyrium Elites. You can also get your Chorus groupset for a great price. I don't think they carry Easton but they do carry 3T. They have a great selection of saddles. For coolness, more than anything, go for a carbon fiber seatpost.
