My favorite type of bread is sourdough.......especially toasted with real butter, and late at night. Thank you.

rye bread with caraway seeds, toasted, with peanut butter on it, and hot coffee on the side.

Also cheese rolls from the Cheese Board in Berkeley. They're made with a real sourdough, and I have the recipe (from their book) so I make them at home occasionally.

Just came back from Spring Street Smoke House in China Town, just a couple of miles from where I live. I had some baby back ribs and shared a pitcher of Arrogant Bastxrd while watching the SC game. It was my first time at that joint. Nice little joint full of pre-game Dodger fans this evening... :D

I don't know of any other part of the U.S. or any place else for that matter with the diversity of ethnic groups here in Southern California. Along with that comes the food. There are too many favorites and that's good.

La Brea Bakery Olive bread, fresh or stale, is out of this world. No wonder I'm getting fat. :p

I just ate some leftover fried rice and pad thai along with at least 1/4 gallon of milk.

I was pretty famished after the triathlon this morning then doing another 22 mile bike ride in the afternoon...

I did better than i expected. Did okay on the swim, kicked @$$ on the bike, and did okay on the run. Had about the same time as i did earlier this year and last year.

Lets just say i'd be majorly pissed if i ever became lactose intolerant. :D

And to keep this thread on topic, i'll be eating some chicken pot pie and dried mangoes for breakfast. I'll get to the coffee in about 45 minutes...

I'm one of those bizzare people in the world who absolutely detests cheesecake. It has caused me to vomit (not kidding). It's a texture thing. Same goes for custard. :o. So, I'm ammune.

In the "sort of a burrito" category, I had a Lobster Burrito (sorry, Langostino Burrito) from Rubio's today. I'm so glad they brought those back!

Rubios was sued for calling them Lobster Burritos, hence the name change. "Langostino" is Spanish for "you don't want to know." Enjoy!

It's not so lame. Langostinos really aren't lobsters. They aren't even in the lobster family. As for suing, lobster is a much higher value food than langostinos, so it could be seen as false advertising. If someone sold me a lobster burrito I would expect that there was lobster in it.

They are tasty though.

Ah, I misunderstood. In my recent brain freeze, I thought you meant the word Lobster Burrito was copyrighted. Speaking of freeze, I want some ice cream.
